Whether you’re an employee or a volunteer, if you’re part of Coast Guard or Search & Rescue, you’re eligible to join — no matter your role.
To confirm your eligibility, you’ll need to provide one of the following:
✅ For employees:
Work ID card
Recent payslip (dated within the last 3 months)
Statement of service
🤝 For volunteers:
Work ID card
Certificate of Volunteer Service
Statement of service
Can’t provide one of these?
No problem — email us at support@bluelightcard.com.au and we’ll help you find another way to confirm your eligibility.
A few things to keep in mind:
Your ID must clearly show your name and your connection to Coast Guard or Search & Rescue
Any dated documents must be from the last 3 months, or still valid
You must be at least 16 years old to apply
We securely delete all documents once your membership is approved 🔐
