Whether you’re an employee or a volunteer, if you’re part of the education sector from early childhood to tertiary you’re eligible to join, no matter your role. This includes:

• Early childhood education and care

• Outside School Hours Care (OSHC)

• Primary schools

• Secondary schools

• Tertiary education

• Teaching and support staff across all levels

To confirm your eligibility, you’ll need one of the following:

✅ For employees:

• Work ID card

• State or Territory teacher registration number (NSW, VIC, QLD, SA, WA, TAS, NT, ACT)

• Recent payslip (dated within the last 3 months)

• Teacher accreditation card

• Statement of service

🤝 For volunteers:

• Work ID card

• State or Territory teacher registration number

• Certificate of Volunteer Service

• Teacher accreditation card

• Statement of service

How to find your registration number 🔍

You can search your teacher registration number via your state or territory portal and share a screenshot with us:

• NSW – NSW Public Register of Teachers

• VIC – Victorian Institute of Teaching

• QLD – Queensland College of Teachers

• SA – Teacher Registration Board of South Australia

• WA – Teacher Registration Board of WA

• TAS – Teacher Registration Board of Tasmania

• NT – NT Teacher Registration Board

• ACT – TQI Portal

A few important things to know:

• Your ID must clearly show your name and your connection to an education provider

• Any dated documents must be from the last 3 months, or still valid

• You must be at least 16 years old to apply

• We securely delete all documents once your membership is approved 🔐
