Whether you’re an employee, retiree, or volunteer, if you’re part of the Defence Force community, you’re eligible to join no matter your role.
To confirm your eligibility, you’ll need one of the following:
✅ Paid and reservist employees and cadets (age 16+):
Certificate of Service
Work ID card
Recent payslip (dated within the last 3 months)
🤝 For volunteers:
Work ID card
Certificate of Volunteer Service
Statement of service
🎖️ For retirees:
Commonwealth Superannuation Corporation ADF Super statement
Certificate of Service
DVA Veterans card
Can’t provide one of these?

A few important things to know:
Your ID must clearly show your name and your Defence Force connection
Any dated documents must be from the last 3 months, or still valid
You must be at least 16 years old to apply
We securely delete all documents once your membership is approved 🔐
