If you're part of Fire Services as an employee, retiree or volunteer you're eligible to join, no matter your role.
What we accept as proof
For employees
You can provide one of the following:
Work ID card
Recent payslip
Statement of service
For volunteers
Any of these are fine:
Work ID card
Certificate of Volunteer Service
Statement of service
For retirees
You can share either:
ESSSuper Emergency Services Fund statement
Statement of service

A few quick things to know:
Your ID must clearly show your name and employer or organisation
Any dated documents must be from the past 3 months, or still be valid (like an AHPRA certificate)
You need to be at least 16 years old to join
We securely delete all ID documents as soon as your membership is approved ✅
